Today is the launch of our 4×4 Volunteer force. You may have been up early enough to hear us on BBC Radio Devon. Incase you missed it here is what it is all about.
During the winter months our minds turn to the weather and all the things that can go wrong. Today we launched our ‘4×4 Volunteer Force,’ a call for volunteer 4×4 drivers who can help us get support to vulnerable people in north east Dartmoor at home during bad weather events.
So if you own a 4X4 vehicle that can cope with extreme weather and would like to help out in the case of an emergency please get in touch.
We can offer training and cover expenses. If you want to help with this project, please sign up using the form below. If you have any questions please email email@example.com or call the office on 01647 279211.
The board of directors from North East Dartmoor Care are out and about this Autumn recruiting local carers to join their new team. The board will be drumming up interest in towns and villages such as Chagford, Moretonhampstead, Dunsford, Bridford, Lustleigh and Cheriton Bishop.
All new employees undergo extensive training to ensure that they provide the best possible service for the clients. As a not-for-profit, community owned agency, they aim to offer the best possible terms and conditions and welcome applicants who want to help build an excellent and responsive organisation.
In total NEDCare is looking to recruit 30 members of staff by Dec 2017 and can offer a range different positions depending on experience and can offer flexible working patterns. This increase in local employment is set to benefit the community and will stop carers from having to travel so far to each job.
If you would like to find out more about the NEDCare story head to our website www.nedcare.org, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office on 01647 279211.
We are pleased to announce that we are now recruiting for care and support staff. Please see the poster below and click through to our website for more information and an application pack. Do contact us if you have any questions. www.nedcare.org/jobs
Great news! The Care Quality Commission has completed its assessment of NEDCare and has confirmed that we now have ‘Registered’ status. It has taken two and a half years for us to achieve this milestone and we are so happy with the result.
This means that we are now able to provide regulated domiciliary care to communities in our area of benefit – north east Dartmoor –which has previously suffered from a dire lack of such services.
We are now busy recruiting staff to build a outstanding team and we expect to be delivering care within a few short weeks. If you are interested in working with us and making a difference, we are offering the best possible terms and conditions and are proud to be putting people before profits.
